Vivek Mehrotra is a seasoned leader in the field of medical imaging, with close to four decades of deep domain experience spanning service, product management, and global sales leadership. A graduate in Electronics Engineering (1985), Vivek began his career at Siemens Medical Engineering Division, where he spent a decade mastering service operations and customer support across CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine systems. He was among the first Indian engineers to work on MRI scanners, laying the technical foundation for his future leadership roles.
In 1995, Vivek joined GE Healthcare and held several senior positions over the next 15 years, including Sales Manager and Modality Product Manager for MRI in Southeast Asia. During his tenure, he played a key role in shaping GE’s diagnostic imaging business across diverse markets, building high-performing sales teams, and introducing new technologies with strong clinical relevance.
In 2010, Vivek took on the role of Vice President – Global Sales & Service at an international MRI startup, where he successfully led the company to global prominence in low-field MRI systems within just two years. Inspired by this success, he co-founded Innowave Healthcare in 2013, with a mission to deliver scalable, affordable, and cutting-edge imaging workflow solutions.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Vivek has been instrumental in building Innowave’s strong presence across India and international markets. He brings a unique blend of strategic insight, operational experience, and trusted relationships across the radiology ecosystem. His leadership continues to drive Innowave’s growth and innovation, making it a preferred partner for diagnostic centers, hospitals, and public health programs.
